HANDWERKERTRUPPFUEHRER/IN (GEBAEUDEINSTANDHALTUNG) Vilseck, Germany Responsibilities • Serving as a working leader for 3+ employees (up to LN wage group 6, including Carpenters and Electricians); assigning tasks, demonstrating proper work methods, and ensuring deadlines are met. • Performing individual non-supervisory work as a Maintenance Mechanic (A4-4749-6); maintaining systems, diagnosing malfunctions, and executing repairs or adjustments. • Monitoring work-in-progress for technical adequacy; enforcing strict occupational safety regulations on construction sites and in the workshop; checking safe equipment operation. • Ensuring required tools and materials are at the work site; locating elements, creating inventories of spare parts, and placing material orders via digital applications. • Providing regular progress and status updates to the supervisor; tracking and recording daily hours worked by assigned personnel in the application system for administrative processing. • Onboarding and training coworkers on new work processes, technical instructions, directives, and newly introduced machinery. • Performing other duties as assigned.

Benefits and Work Conditions • This is a permanent full-time position (38.5 hrs / week). • The incumbent of this position is occasionally required to perform TDY (Temporary Duty Travel). • Shift work required. • Employee must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. • On‑Call duty required. • Office automation skills are required.

Qualifications • Completed vocational training in the appropriate trade PLUS 2 years experience at a level of difficulty comparable to the Wage Group 5 or equivalent.

The applicant must be able to perform the duties independently. • OR 8 years of specialized experience, of which 3 years must have been performed at the wage group 5 or equivalent level. • Applicants must be in possession of a German driver’s license class B. • Language proficiency: English level B2 and German level C1 required.
